Reminder: National Dog Walk and Carnival 2010 and Snow's Bday Bash~

The National Dog Walk & Carnival 2010 is an opportunity for all dog owners to come together with their families and have an exciting Sunday on 5 September 2010 from 9am to 7pm, at the Grand Lawn, West Coast Park. Whilst being responsible dog owners you can also participate in fun events with your doggies and win prizes! A carnival with rides, games and food awaits every family. You can also do a good deed at the welfare organisations’ stands. Don’t forget to look out for a fantastic array of doggie products that will be on sale!

The flag-off for the National Dog Walk is at 4pm. It’s our way of celebrating Singapore’s 45th National Day.

Register by 29 August 2010 and stand to win valuable prizes in our Lucky Draw.

Wynteryne's First Debut Show

Dear Members,

Japanese Spitz Club is happy to announce that Wynteryne hit the show ring last weekend at the SKC's 3rd FCI and 20th AKU Championship Dog Show held at Downtown East D' Marquee.  She won herself FCI's Challenge Certificate and 4th in Best in Group, AKU's Challenge Certificate.

This is her first time in the show ring and it went well.  I hope she will get better each time she visits the ring.  Here are some of the pictures taken at the show and after the show.

Good News for the Sunshine Boys and Girls who own pets.

Japanese Spitz Club just found out that Cafe Del Mar at Sentosa is gonna become Pet Friendly.

Cafe Del Mar will officate the CDM is a pet friendly place and throw a party to celebrate this.  More details will be updated once we have the details.

We can organize a Japanese Spitz Gathering again on this day.

Synopsis

SHIRO AND THE CHERRY BLOSSOM by I Theatre (Singapore)

Shiro is a little white dog. A dog who is very fond of his owner. One day, as he sees Miss Sakura, his owner, again struggling to make ends meet, Shiro decides to repay her kindness to him - and presents her with a wonderful gift. However, the noisy, nosy, nasty next door sour plum of a neighbour, Umeko, finds out and decides she must have the same, and more. So she persuades Sakura to loan her the dog and tries to force little Shiro to give her a reward too. Will the neighbour’s greed and cruelty be rewarded or punished? And what will happen to Little Shiro? A wonderful Japanese Folk Tale transformed with I Theatre’s special touch Page 7 of 7 Revision date: 1st August, 2006 to create a truly magical story of friendship, generosity, selfishness - showing us that true generosity will always be rewarded, but selfishness and greed will lead to nothing but grief.
